Hi, I'm Nico – I design sound for games in Victoria, Canada.
I developed my passion for digital audio during my undergrad in Sydney, Australia, where I lived for 4 years studying Religion and Philosophy. I began with recording and mixing bands in small apartments, and through this process learned how to translate my ideas for audio using a computer.
Upon my return to Canada I entered full-time work as a FoH sound engineer for an historic venue in Victoria. After several years of live audio, I shifted focus to audiovisual media, working on videos and films.
This new work gradually led me to the world of games, where I have been adapting my audio skills to contribute to building stories for the past two years.
I'm self taught, curious, and enjoy collaborating with others towards a creative vision.
